"Guide to Long Term Care Planning": developed by the National Care Planning Council as a public service for area agencies on aging, nonprofit organizations, associations, state aging units and to support the Long Term Care Consumer Awareness Campaign from the Department of Health and Human Services. This free, noncommercial resource is the largest and most comprehensive work on long term care planning ever produced. This no-cost, online publication contains over 670 printable pages including 96 charts and graphs. It is written by eight experts and organized into 35 chapters. There is also a section on helping seniors with the new Medicare prescription drug benefit.

The National Care Planning Council is not a government organization but a private alliance of eldercare advisers, experts and providers who promote long term care planning nationwide. A great deal of this new information is unique and has never been published before.

Assisted Living Directory for Wisconsin, including Green Bay: Lists numerous facilities, organized by state, and then by city. We recommend that if you are looking into assisted living for yourself, or a friend or loved one, that you take ample time to research each facility thoroughly.
